Accountant, Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice and services to the organization and its clients. This role comes with a salary of 1100 KD per month.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in preparing financial statements
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
• Excellent analytic, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in relevant software (e.g. QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills both written and oral
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

Job Description:
The Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable • Preparing monthly balance sheets, profit/loss statements and other financial reports • Reconciling accounts with the general ledger • Assisting auditors with quarterly reviews or annual audits • Generating periodic reports for upper management • Analysing financial information detailing assets, liabilities etc. • Developing budgets and forecasts based on historical data • Implementing new accounting procedures & processes • Verifying transactions are properly recorded • Providing administrative support when needed.
