Al-Kuwait is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for the organization.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process of goods and services, including cost analysis, supplier selection, negotiation, order fulfillment and quality assurance. The Buyer will also oversee vendor relationships, identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure timely delivery of purchased items. Additional duties include preparing reports on purchase orders, updating technical specifications and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong negotiation skills
• Familiarity with standard purchasing procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
