• Troubleshoot mechanical issues by using specialized diagnostic equipment
• Repair or replace defective parts as needed
• Follow safety guidelines when operating tools and machinery
• Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs were successful
• Keep accurate records of services rendered for customer reference
Qualifications
• High school diploma preferred but not required
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools
• Ability to identify problems quickly and take corrective action on them immediately
