Accountant (Indian or Pakistani) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should be a citizen of India or Pakistan, but we welcome applicants from other nationalities as well. This position does not require fluency in English.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records for our company. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements and reports, and compliance with local laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll records.
- Ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues.
- Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
- Maintain knowledge of local tax laws and ensure compliance with all tax requirements.
- Provide support for any other finance-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting principles is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi or Urdu (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
- Preference will be given to female candidates.
