Information Security Analyst
As an Information Security Analyst based in Ar Rass, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all organizational information. Your role will involve identifying and mitigating potential security risks and vulnerabilities, as well as developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats.
- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices.
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access.
- Analyze security logs and reports to identify any anomalies or breaches.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Perform regular backups of critical systems and data to ensure business continuity in case of a security incident.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner by conducting forensic investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct employee training on information security awareness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role.
- Familiarity with common network protocols and operating systems (e.g. TCP/IP, Windows, Linux).
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and GDPR.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g. Nessus), intrusion detection/prevention systems (e.g. Snort), firewalls (e.g. Cisco ASA), and other security technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred but not required.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
