Senior Merchandiser

We are a leading retail company in Al-Kuwait and we are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. As a Senior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, planning and implementing merchandising strategies, and managing a team of merchandisers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to plan merchandise assortments
- Develop effective merchandising strategies to optimize sales and profit margins
- Manage the allocation and replenishment of inventory across multiple stores
- Collaborate with buyers to ensure timely and accurate ordering of products
- Oversee the pricing and markdown process to maintain competitive pricing
- Conduct regular store visits to analyze product placement and make necessary adjustments
- Lead a team of merchandisers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in retail merchandising
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Fluency in English is required

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position. This opportunity is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Pakistani or Malayalee candidates.
