Tutor for English Language Learners



We are hiring a skilled and motivated Tutor to assist English Language Learners (ELLs) in improving their language skills. As a Tutor, you will work with students from diverse backgrounds and provide them with individualized instruction and support to help them achieve their language learning goals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to identify students' language needs and develop personalized learning plans
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to students' different learning styles
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to ensure effective language acquisition
- Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement
- Help students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through practice activities
- Assist with test preparation for standardized exams such as TOEFL or IELTS

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Bachelor's degree in TESOL, Linguistics, Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with ELLs or teaching English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Knowledge of various teaching strategies and techniques for language acquisition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse student populations
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
