Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Bayan. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative and delicious menus, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining inventory and budget control.
Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that showcase your creativity and passion for food
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet demand
- Monitor food costs to stay within budget guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and styles of cuisine
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, and cost control methods
