Executive Chef - International CuisineJob Description:
As an Executive Chef at our renowned international cuisine restaurant in Jizan, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our guests. Your extensive experience in the culinary field and proficiency in English will be essential in executing your duties effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring compliance with recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations
- Create and update menus based on seasonal availability of ingredients and customer preferences
- Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff to maintain a productive and efficient work environment
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders when necessary to maintain stock
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to develop promotional menus and special event menus
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant specializing in international cuisine
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is a must
- Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques for various types of dishes (e.g. Italian, French, Asian)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning and presentation
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position.
