Merchandiser (Al-Malikiyah, Syria)


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the purchase and display of products in our retail stores. Your main goal will be to maximize sales and increase customer satisfaction by ensuring that our stores are properly stocked and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to create effective merchandise displays
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for products in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and advertising strategies
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and presentation
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Proven track record of increasing sales through effective merchandising strategies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers, store staff, and customers
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the retail industry
- Biometric passport for easy travel between Syria and neighboring countries

As this is a contract job, we are looking for someone who is able to commit to a minimum of 6 months. This position is suitable for men who are physically fit as it may involve some heavy lifting.
