Restaurant Manager
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant operations in Hawalli. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staffing, customer service, food quality, and financial performance. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers have an exceptional dining experience and that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the food industry. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in restaurant management and possess knowledge of Indian or Pakistani cuisine. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant including opening/closing procedures, staffing, inventory management, and financial performance
- Train and manage staff members in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant to meet health code standards
- Monitor food quality to ensure consistency and freshness
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
- Develop relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies at competitive prices
- Create schedules for employees that meet business needs while adhering to labor laws
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, address concerns, and recognize achievements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management is required
- Knowledge of Indian or Pakistani cuisine is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles for managing finances within the restaurant
- Understanding of health code regulations for food safety standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
