Indian Cuisine Chef
We are in search of an experienced and skilled Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at a popular restaurant in Bayan. As an Indian Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and training junior chefs. You must have a deep understanding of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and cultural influences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency and following food safety standards. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create traditional and modern Indian dishes using fresh ingredients
- Develop new menu items and adjust existing recipes to meet customer preferences
- Ensure quality and consistency of all dishes served
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, controlling costs, and maintaining cleanliness
- Train junior chefs on proper cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of all orders
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock
- Comply with all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and cultural influences
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train junior chefs effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a culinary institute or relevant training program
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant setting
