Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Mecca. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and authentic Indian dishes, along with strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design menu items featuring traditional and modern Indian flavors
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and team management
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ensure consistent high quality of food production, presentation, and service
- Maintain budgetary guidelines for food costs and labor expenses
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to develop marketing strategies for promoting the restaurant's unique cuisine
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Thorough knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, and regional variations
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining traditional flavors and techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Understanding of health code regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen
Experience working in high-volume restaurants or hotels is preferred
