Executive Chef - Seasonal Position
We are in need of an experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Al Buraymi. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop seasonal menus with a focus on local and fresh ingredients
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for the kitchen
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Creativity in menu development with a focus on utilizing local ingredients
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once
- Attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Salary: $1800 per month (tax-free)
