Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in our kitchen team. Your main responsibility will be to assist the Head Chef in managing daily operations and ensuring the quality and consistency of our dishes. You must have a creative flair for food and be able to lead and motivate a team of chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help plan and develop menus with the Head Chef
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and mentor junior chefs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure prompt service
- Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Creative mindset with excellent knowledge of culinary trends and techniques
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, along with medical insurance, annual leave, and other benefits.
Location:
This position is based in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. Preference will be given to Indian nationals who are fluent in English.
