Executive Chef
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in creating delicious and innovative dishes. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing inventory and purchasing.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to guests
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high quality and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other team members
- Manage inventory levels and purchase necessary ingredients while maintaining budget
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure proper coverage during service hours
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Continuously strive to improve menu offerings through creativity and innovation
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate them into menu designs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Creativity in menu design with the ability to adapt to changing dietary trends
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage a team and work with front-of-house staff
- Biometric passport required for travel outside of the country
Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Bayan, Kuwait (Preference for Indian nationals)
