Head Chef - Pakistani and Malayalee Cuisine (Jeddah)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our Pakistani and Malayalee cuisine kitchen in Jeddah. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic dishes that showcase the rich flavors and diversity of these cuisines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pakistani and Malayalee food, with a strong knowledge of traditional spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and prepare dishes for the restaurant's menu, ensuring authenticity and quality
- Oversee the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours
- Train and mentor junior chefs in traditional Pakistani and Malayalee cooking techniques
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items or specials
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef specializing in Pakistani or Malayalee cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques used in these cuisines
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in Urdu or Malayalam preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail with a focus on presentation and taste of dishes
Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.
Location:
This role is based in Jeddah. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently living in Jeddah.
