Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef at our luxury resort in Salalah, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring that high-quality dishes are consistently served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of menus and recipes, taking into consideration seasonal and local ingredients
- Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to company standards and health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain proper food cost control
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or menus
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
