Chef de Cuisine
As a Chef de Cuisine in our restaurant located in Nizwa, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes that will leave our customers satisfied. You should have a strong passion for cooking and a creative mindset to constantly innovate and improve our menu offerings.
Your main duties will include preparing food items according to our menu specifications, ensuring food quality and presentation are up to standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You will also be responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff, monitoring inventory levels, and creating schedules for the kitchen team.
To excel in this role, you should have excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You must also have experience in menu planning and costing, as well as knowledge of food safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control
- Knowledge of food safety standards
