This position is for an experienced Executive Chef to join the team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff, designing menus, and developing recipes. Job Description
The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating menus that are both innovative and exciting. They will be required to manage all aspects of kitchen operations including staff management, food preparation, quality control, budgeting, and inventory management. The Executive Chef must ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times. They must also develop new recipes while ensuring consistency of existing dishes.
Responsibilities
• Develop creative menus with innovative dishes that appeal to a wide range of customers
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including staffing, scheduling, food preparation and quality control
• Monitor food costs and maintain budgeting guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as hygiene standards
• Train staff on proper cooking techniques as well as menu items
• Respond to customer feedback in a timely manner
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef or similar role working in high-end restaurants or hotels
• Experience with menu design and recipe development
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations as well as hygiene standards
• Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to motivate kitchen staff
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
