Demands for the Candidate:
The successful candidate should display strong interpersonal skills, have a positive attitude towards meeting challenges, possess great organizational skills, be able to multi-task effectively, be flexible with working hours when needed and speak fluent Arabic as well as English. Previous experience as a Sales Representative or Merchandiser is desirable but not mandatory. We are also open to considering immigrants who meet the requirements of this role.
Job Responsibilities:
The main duties of this position will include but are not limited to: creating product displays, stocking shelves with merchandise, tending to customer inquiries and complaints, setting up promotional displays, providing advice on products and services offered by the company and conducting market research surveys. The Merchandiser will also need to inform customers about current promotions and discounts as well as maintain accurate records of all sales transactions.
Desired Skills:
A successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, knowledge of basic business principles such as pricing strategies and product marketing techniques as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word and Excel. Additionally the ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles in order to accurately track all sales transactions.
