Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality desserts and pastries for our restaurant and catering services. The position requires creativity, a passion for baking, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of food safety. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1300 per month. We are willing to consider applicants from abroad.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Pastry Chef include but are not limited to: creating interesting and appetizing desserts; utilizing ingredients in innovative ways; following recipes accurately; ensuring that all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations; managing inventory levels; training staff in pastry preparation techniques; ensuring pastry display cases are stocked at all times; demonstrating strong customer service skills during interactions with customers; designing and executing special occasion cakes for events; maintaining a clean work environment at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience: 5+ years of experience as a pastry chef or baker within a professional kitchen setting; excellent knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and recipes; strong customer service skills; knowledge of health regulations related to food preparation as well as food safety best practices; experience training other chefs in pastry-making techniques preferred but not required.
