Pastry Chef in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are looking for a creative and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality pastries, cakes, and other desserts. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating innovative pastries and cakes, be comfortable working with both traditional and modern equipment, and have excellent customer service skills.
The responsibilities of the Pastry Chef will include:
• Developing new pastry recipes as well as improving existing ones
• Preparing ingredients for recipes, such as creams, fillings, mousses, syrups etc.
• Decorating pastries to ensure that they meet customer expectations
• Ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
• Supervising junior chefs and other kitchen staff
• Training kitchen staff on the preparation of pastries and desserts
• Maintaining an organized workspace to ensure efficiency in the kitchen.
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Relevant culinary qualifications or a degree/diploma in Pastry Arts
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience working as a pastry chef in a professional setting
• Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and equipment
• Attention to detail when it comes to taste, texture, presentation and accuracy of recipes
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
