Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Executive Chef will be responsible for designing and executing the menus, leading the kitchen team in preparing meals according to recipes, and ensuring that all food is served at the highest standards of quality. The position offers a salary of 1400 per month and is open to immigrants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design menus for various occasions with consideration of seasonal ingredients
• Direct kitchen staff in their daily tasks, providing guidance and advice when needed
• Monitor kitchen operations to ensure that health department guidelines are followed
• Develop innovative recipes while maintaining traditional flavors and techniques
• Ensure food quality meets established standards
• Ensure that all food items are stored correctly and safety procedures are followed
• Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience working as an executive chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
• Proven track record in creating high-quality dishes from existing recipes as well as developing new ones on the spot
• Expert knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, ingredients, equipment, and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of health code regulations and sanitation practices
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management preferred
