Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as a chef in a professional kitchen setting
• Demonstrated mastery of a variety of cooking techniques, cuisines, and other food-related disciplines
• Ability to create and execute innovative menu ideas with attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff on proper cooking methods, recipes, portioning and presentation of food
• Ability to plan menus, estimate food needs and costs, order supplies, and keep records
• Familiarity with health codes related to food handling and preparation
• Knowledgeable in safety precautions in the kitchen environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed by the business
