Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a kitchen of experienced chefs and lead the development of innovative, high-quality dishes. The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating menus, costing recipes, overseeing food preparation, ensuring quality control and safety standards are met, and managing staff.
Job Duties:
• Create menus for all meals served in the restaurant
• Source ingredients from reliable suppliers
• Develop recipes and cost them accordingly
• Ensure that all food is prepared according to health regulations
• Oversee kitchen operations and staff management
• Train new chefs on restaurant procedures and techniques
• Monitor food quality and presentation
• Monitor stock levels and order new supplies when necessary
• Address customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
• Culinary degree or equivalent certificate of culinary arts training
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while keeping attention to detail
• Good knowledge of international cuisine
• Excellent communication skills
• Open to taking suggestions on improving existing recipes to meet customer demands
