Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The executive chef is responsible for the overall management of the kitchen staff and all aspects of food production. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality cuisine, have excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary of 1500 and are willing to consider foreign applicants.

Responsibilities

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning menus, developing recipes, coordinating and supervising the kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, safety and presentation, while managing costs. Additionally they must ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly observed.

The Executive Chef will also need to order supplies and maintain stock levels as well as develop relationships with suppliers. They should also be able to manage budgets effectively as well as mentor junior members of the kitchen staff.

Requirements

Experience working in a similar role is essential. The successful candidate should have a good knowledge of international cuisine as well as an understanding of nutritional principles. They should also possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently. In addition, they should possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire their team.

Excellent communication skills are required in order to effectively manage both staff and suppliers alike. A certificate or diploma in culinary arts is desirable but not essential.
