Position: Executive Chef – Riyadh
Salary: 1500 SAR per month
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the same role, as well as a passion and commitment for creating quality, innovative dishes.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall kitchen management – including menu planning, inventory control and staff management.
• Develop new recipes and menus in line with customer preferences and provide creative input on existing menus.
• Monitor food production to ensure quality standards are met in line with customer expectations.
• Ensure safety and sanitation regulations within the kitchen are met at all times.
• Train staff on preparation techniques, safety procedures, menu items and cooking processes.
• Monitor food costs and portion control to ensure profitability is achieved.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients are sourced at competitive prices.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing large teams of chefs or kitchen staff is essential.
• Outstanding culinary skills with the ability to develop creative recipes using fresh ingredients and traditional methods of cooking.
• Knowledge of safety regulations within a kitchen environment is essential, along with HACCP certification or equivalent qualifications preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic preferred but not mandatory for foreign candidates.
