Executive Chef job vacancy in Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of culinary and management experience, with the ability to lead and oversee a large kitchen team. The successful applicant must have a passion for cooking and be able to provide high quality cuisine that meets customer expectations. This position offers a salary of 1300 per month. We are also open to considering an immigrant for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate and direct the activities of all kitchen staff
• Create menus for daily specials, catering services, banquets, etc.
• Develop new recipes or modify existing ones in order to create new dishes
• Monitor food preparation methods and presentation standards
• Oversee the proper storage and use of all food items in order to maintain quality standards
• Develop purchasing strategies which optimize quality while minimizing costs
• Monitor portion control and adjust recipes accordingly to ensure optimal food cost margins
• Establish sanitation procedures for kitchen staff including cleanliness standards of work area, equipment, utensils, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels of food items and supplies
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in the kitchen area
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent role in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing kitchen staff
• Culinary degree from an accredited institution preferred
• Knowledge of international cuisine styles with emphasis on Middle Eastern cuisine
• Ability to clearly communicate instructions through verbal and written English
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
