Executive Chef job vacancy in Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of culinary and management experience, with the ability to lead and oversee a large kitchen team. The successful applicant must have a passion for cooking and be able to provide high quality cuisine that meets customer expectations. This position offers a salary of 1300 per month. We are also open to considering an immigrant for this position.
Responsibilities:
β’ Plan, coordinate and direct the activities of all kitchen staff
β’ Create menus for daily specials, catering services, banquets, etc.
β’ Develop new recipes or modify existing ones in order to create new dishes
β’ Monitor food preparation methods and presentation standards
β’ Oversee the proper storage and use of all food items in order to maintain quality standards
β’ Develop purchasing strategies which optimize quality while minimizing costs
β’ Monitor portion control and adjust recipes accordingly to ensure optimal food cost margins
β’ Establish sanitation procedures for kitchen staff including cleanliness standards of work area, equipment, utensils, etc.
β’ Monitor inventory levels of food items and supplies
β’ Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in the kitchen area
Qualifications:
β’ 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent role in a fast-paced environment
β’ Proven track record of successfully managing kitchen staff
β’ Culinary degree from an accredited institution preferred
β’ Knowledge of international cuisine styles with emphasis on Middle Eastern cuisine
β’ Ability to clearly communicate instructions through verbal and written English
β’ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
