Job Summary:

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering field
• Proven knowledge of construction techniques, materials properties and standards
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD software applications
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem solving skills with critical thinking abilities
• Ability to travel as required

Job Duties:
• Develop plans for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems etc.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Supervise contractors during project execution
• Interpret survey reports and design drawings
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure project compliance with safety standards • Analyze data from tests performed on soil composition, asphalt etc. • Prepare reports on project updates or other related documents
