Requirements for the Candidate:
β’ Must have a culinary degree or equivalent diploma from an accredited institution.
β’ Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive chef role.
β’ Must be willing to work in Saudi Arabia and comply with the local laws and regulations.
β’ Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including ordering, inventory management, staff scheduling, food preparation, plating and presentation of dishes according to recipes.
β’ Develop new recipes for menu items while maintaining existing ones.
β’ Ensure that all health and safety standards are met within the kitchen area.
β’ Collaborate with restaurant personnel to ensure timely delivery of meals in accordance with customer specifications.
β’ Train new cooks on proper techniques for food preparation and presentation as well as safety protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
β’ Excellent cooking skills with knowledge of various ingredients and preparation methods for a wide range of dishes from around the world.
β’ Knowledgeable about hygiene standards and regulations related to food handling procedures.
β’ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage kitchen staff efficiently for maximum productivity.
β’ Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environment while maintaining quality control standards at all times.
