Requirements for the Candidate:
• Must have a culinary degree or equivalent diploma from an accredited institution.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive chef role.
• Must be willing to work in Saudi Arabia and comply with the local laws and regulations.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including ordering, inventory management, staff scheduling, food preparation, plating and presentation of dishes according to recipes.
• Develop new recipes for menu items while maintaining existing ones.
• Ensure that all health and safety standards are met within the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with restaurant personnel to ensure timely delivery of meals in accordance with customer specifications.
• Train new cooks on proper techniques for food preparation and presentation as well as safety protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent cooking skills with knowledge of various ingredients and preparation methods for a wide range of dishes from around the world.
• Knowledgeable about hygiene standards and regulations related to food handling procedures.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage kitchen staff efficiently for maximum productivity.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environment while maintaining quality control standards at all times.
