Merchandiser (Khasab, Oman)
We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Khasab, Oman on a contract basis. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are displayed and marketed effectively in retail stores. Your role will be crucial in driving sales and increasing brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned retail stores regularly to ensure that products are properly displayed and promoted.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with store managers to ensure products are replenished in a timely manner.
- Implement promotions and marketing initiatives to increase sales and brand awareness.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and provide feedback on competitors' activities.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing product visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with store managers to negotiate optimal placement of products in store displays.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
