Executive Pastry Chef
We are a luxury hotel in the bustling city of Medina and we are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, as well as strong leadership skills to manage and train our team of pastry chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Create new and innovative pastry dishes for our restaurant
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs
- Ensure high quality standards are met for all pastries served
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to create dessert menus for special events
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a pastry chef in a high-end establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients
- Experience managing a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Fluent in English (Arabic or French is a plus)
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
