Office Assistant in Muscat, Oman
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth daily operations of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors, answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Manage and maintain schedules, appointments and travel arrangements for office staff
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters and forms
- Organize and maintain paper and electronic files
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Assist with preparing presentations, reports and other documents as needed
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and arrange courier services as necessary
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.
- Liaise with other departments or external contacts to coordinate meetings or events
- Provide support for special projects or events as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English. Arabic language skills would be an asset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have a biometric passport for international travel purposes
- Experience working with accommodation arrangements would be preferred
Experience working in an urgent environment is a plus
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
