Contract Accountant
Location: Salalah, Oman
Salary: $1000 per month
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of our company on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Review and reconcile bank statements.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll for employees.
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
This is a contract position for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
