Office Assistant
We are in need of a skilled and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Khasab. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$, without accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls and emails, and manage the reception area.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, place orders when necessary, and keep track of inventory.
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Schedule appointments and meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare meeting materials.
- Collect and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, bill payments, and record keeping.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Help with organizing company events or meetings.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Office Assistant or Secretary are a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Hold a biometric passport.
- Have previous experience working in an office environment in Khasab.
