The contract office assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office staff. This is a part-time job suitable for students or those without prior experience. Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff members
- Greeting and assisting visitors in a professional manner
- Managing and organizing files, both physical and digital
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Drafting and formatting documents, reports, and presentations
- Assisting with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring inventory is well-stocked
- Responding to emails and other correspondence in a timely manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
