Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Medina. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing various desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. You will also be in charge of ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and hygiene.
Key requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create unique and visually appealing desserts
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Creating new dessert menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Preparing a variety of desserts such as cakes, pastries, cookies, and tarts
- Decorate pastries using different techniques to enhance their appearance
- Supervising the kitchen staff to ensure quality standards are met
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Training new staff members on pastry techniques and recipes
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
