Executive Chef - Nizwa, Oman
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant in Nizwa, Oman. You will be tasked with creating and executing menus, managing kitchen staff and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that reflect our brand's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training and scheduling
- Oversee food preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure high quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed by the kitchen team
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients and equipment
- Ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
