Pastry Chef (Indian Cuisine)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef to join our team in Riyadh. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts and baked goods, including traditional Indian sweets. You must have a passion for pastry making and be knowledgeable about Indian cuisine and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Create new and innovative dessert recipes with an Indian twist
- Prepare various types of bread, cakes, pastries, and other desserts
- Decorate pastries using different techniques such as icing, glazing, piping, etc.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef with specialization in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and baking techniques
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
