Pastry Chef (Indian Cuisine) in Medina, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end Indian restaurant in Medina, Saudi Arabia. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious Indian desserts and pastries that will leave our customers coming back for more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of Indian desserts and pastries according to traditional recipes and modern trends
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared with the highest quality ingredients and presented beautifully
- Manage inventory of pastry supplies and order as needed to maintain stock levels
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs in proper techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to plan menus and specials that feature unique Indian desserts
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety standards
- Continuously experiment with new flavors, techniques, and presentations to keep the menu fresh and exciting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in an Indian cuisine setting
- Knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and pastries as well as modern trends in pastry making
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to execute precise recipes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Team player attitude with strong leadership skills
Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)
Location: Medina, Saudi Arabia (housing provided)
