Seasonal Executive Chef
As a Seasonal Executive Chef in Jeddah, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the culinary operations for our seasonal resort. You will be leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that cater to the preferences and dietary needs of our guests
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to high-quality standards and delivered in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all safety and sanitation regulations
- Develop relationships with local vendors to ensure the freshest ingredients are used in our dishes
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dinners
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role, ideally in a seasonal or resort setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and culinary trends
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed during peak season
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles for cost control
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
