Executive Chef
We are currently hiring an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Muscat. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest level of quality and presentation for all dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to health and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before being served to guests
- Conduct regular menu tastings to ensure consistency and refine dishes as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team of chefs
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites on the menu
- Understanding of food cost control measures and ability to manage inventory effectively
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Muscat (open to any nationality)
