Office Assistant
We are searching for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Khasab. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth operation of daily business activities. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month and includes accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing for shipment
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for office staff
- Keep track of employee attendance and prepare monthly reports
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, recording expenses, and processing payments
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning documents, etc.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not required
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
