Executive Chef in Muscat, Oman
A luxurious hotel in Muscat, Oman is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the head of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food and service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect the hotel's standards and cater to a diverse range of tastes and dietary needs
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance
- Collaborate with other departments to plan events and special menu offerings
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cuisine styles and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Eligibility to work in Oman without accommodation provided
