Senior Analyst, Financial Accounting
Your Opportunity as the Senior Analyst Financial Accounting
Lead the accounting activities for our corporate supply chain accounting team. Ensure timely and accurate journal entries support month end close activities and participate in streamlining our overall financial reporting processes. This role is a part of our Finance Analyst Rotation program allowing you to rotate within our Finance organization to grow new skills and abilities approximately every two years.
In this role you will:
Perform month-end close tasks including but not limited to journal entries reconciliations and/or consolidation of financial statements
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to support internal reporting and external reporting
Ensure monthly and quarterly activities performed are SOX compliant and in-line with the required accounting guidance and internal policies
Liaison for internal and external audit as it relates to all responsible processes
Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts
Accounting and reporting support for acquisitions and divestitures
Prepare financial analysis and projections for various initiatives
Provide fact-based decision support to business partners and leadership team(s)
Partner with cross functional teams to ensure complete and accurate understanding of financial results and outlook identify improvement opportunities and solutions as appropriate
Support functional and cross-functional projects as needed this may include process improvement standardization simplification and technological advancement

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelorās degree in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of experience working in an accounting audit or similar function
Advanced understanding of accounting and financial statements
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proven ability to multi-task prioritize and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Additional skills and experiences that we think would make someone successful in this role:
MBA CPA CMA or other advanced degree or certification is valued
Experience with financial systems such as Oracle Hyperion Smart View and/or Spotfire is valued
